Project initiation and team building

Lokalise, a company focused on developing a cutting-edge, API-first, and AI-ready translation platform, faced the challenge of scaling its IT delivery to match the ambitious scope of its project. In response, Braver IT stepped in to support Lokalise’s expansion efforts. The collaboration began with the placement of two senior engineers who were not only a perfect fit technically but also matched Lokalise’s corporate culture. This strategic alignment allowed for a seamless integration of new members into Lokalise’s existing team, setting a solid foundation for the project’s success.

Iterative recruitment and onboarding process

Recognizing the importance of sustaining momentum in a rapidly evolving tech environment, Braver IT implemented an iterative process to recruit and onboard additional engineers. The focus was on nurturing a product mindset, crucial for the dynamic needs of developing a modern translation platform. This approach ensured that each new engineer was not only technically proficient but also deeply aligned with Lokalise’s vision and operational dynamics. As a result, the team expanded efficiently, growing to a total of 11 engineers who were well-versed in the nuances of API integration and AI technologies, crucial for the translation platform.

Successful delivery and expansion

The collaboration between Lokalise and Braver IT yielded substantial results. The first version of the new translation platform was successfully delivered, meeting the high standards required for contemporary translation services and establishing Lokalise as a formidable player in the market. This success laid the groundwork for further expansion, with the IT team scaling effectively under the guidance of Braver IT. The project not only reinforced Lokalise’s position in the translation industry but also showcased Braver IT’s capability in managing and executing complex IT projects, ultimately leading to extended cooperation with other departments and hiring managers within Lokalise.
